SUMMER FAYRE STALL – 20.6.26 

A special thank you to the small band of helpers who worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure we raised some money.  In fact we raised a total of £302. 

REPORT 

As I set off to our Stall located on the Low Green in Ayr, the sun shone brightly down which was a good omen.  My Chauffeur Helena helped me load several bags into what space was left in her car as she also had all her stuff for the handprints activity she was going to run.  

When we arrived, there was some confusion about the entrance to the event and exactly where our stalls were located.  I was not best pleased that our double stall appeared to have a partition between them, and we had no partition separating us from the stall beside us.  However, we overcame this problem and got on with the task of setting things up.   

It was a hive of activity as the following was set up: 

Handprints – Helena 

Tombola and Lucky Dips – Morag and Rosemary 

Guess the Name of the Teddy – Hugh. 

We were joined by some of our Friends: Scott, Margaret Rose and Jason who helped in a variety of ways throughout the day.  Well done! 

At the end of a very tiring day we packed up and headed home knowing that we had managed to raise enough money to keep this event on our annual fund raising calendar.  

PRAYER REQUESTS 

We remember in our prayers all the members of the SPRED Galloway Family who are going through any kind of difficulty.  It is good to know that Mary Wood is continuing her steady recovery and thanks everyone for their continued prayers and good wishes.
